Small Plane Crash Kills Pilot, Passenger In Culpeper County, State Police Say

A pilot and their passenger were killed in a small plane crash in Culpeper County on Friday, May 17, authorities confirmed.

The private aircraft went down on the 13000 block of Spillman Road in Culpeper County just before 2:45 p.m., Virginia State Police said.

The pilot and sole occupant died at the scene. The FAA and NTSB were notified. The incident remains under investigation.
